Navigation

Navigation is an essential part of a yacht. The associated equipment varies from LED-navigation lights to equipment such as a plotter, AIS, Navtex, etc. We supply and assemble these products. A lot is possible. What you choose depends on your sailing behaviour and the area where you sail. Someone who is going on a big trip needs different equipment than someone who only sails on inland water or the IJsselmeer. After an extensive interview we can advise what you need. Plotter

A plotter is a nice tool for navigation, but there are many different types. We advise you so that you can make a good choice for the right model and type. Together we look for the best options for you and your yacht. We deliver the complete package and build it in for you. We can also supply the cards for the plotter.

AIS

AIS is a modern tracking system with which you can see yachts and sea-going vessels on your plotter. This system allows other yachts to see you as well. We can take care of the delivery and assembly of an AIS system with warranty.

VHF Radio

You can use a telephone to communicate with the outside world. If you are at sea or on large inland waterways, you need a VHF radio. The antenna and the VHF radio must be assembled carefully. Given the experience and safety, we only assemble the best quality radios. A Raymarine Ray 260 is an example of this. This is a perfect radio that has proven itself in our clientele.

Autopilot

It is almost impossible to imagine the current yachts without autopilots. We provide maintenance to, for example, the operator or the cabling. We can also replace the autopilot or install a new one.

Bow- and stern thruster

These are pleasant aids for mooring. It is important that you have the right type of bow or stern thruster on board. If a version is too light, it does not help you when it is too windy, so it is very important that you have sufficient power.  We make a calculation which type suits your yacht. We can supply and assemble this bow or stern thruster. We prefer the Vetus or Maxprop brands.

Electrics on board

Unfortunately in many older yachts, the on-board electronics are not in order. This is dangerous due to the risk of a short-circuit fire. In case of malfunctions, we will look for the cause of it. Repairs to existing equipment or the installation of a new device are a good opportunity to organize all wiring within the yacht.  In practice,  it often means that all old wiring must be removed and everything has to be reconnected. By creating a new schedule, you have an electrical system on board which is well-arranged and safe. You can use it years ahead.

Battery charger

A correct battery charger is very important, because it partly determines the lifespan of the batteries. The battery charger must also be able to accommodate the power consumption in the port. This requires craftsmanship. We are happy to supply you with the correct battery charger from Mastervolt or Victron for example. We assemble these professionally in your yacht.

Inverter

The inverter is gaining ground in water sports. This device plays a role in charging the phone or using a hair dryer. The use of laptops or iPads on board is becoming increasingly self-evident. Many people have a coffee maker on board. The wattage is important for the correct inverter. The battery pack is important to see and advise what your possibilities are. Based on this, we can deliver and install the correct device. Brands such as Mastervolt and Victron are used the most.

Sun energy

Solar energy is worth considering at this time. We can calculate what you need for your yacht.  Besides we can install the solar panels in a practical location.
